Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tentaculos LLC ("Tentaculos", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the Tentaculos peer-to-peer live-streaming platform and related websites and services (the "Service"). We aim to comply with applicable data-protection laws.
1. Who we are (Controller)
The data controller is Tentaculos LLC, a Wyoming (United States) limited liability company. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. Our contact for data-protection matters is [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address and credentials for accounts created for you by an administrator (Tentaculos has no public self-registration).
- Billing data — invoices, wallet balances and transaction history. Card, Pix and Boleto payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Usage and technical data — log data, device/browser information, IP address, and analytics about how the Service is used.
- Communications — messages you send us (e.g. sales or support requests).
3. Peer-to-peer networking notice
Tentaculos reduces bandwidth by relaying live streams between viewers ("peers") using our proprietary peer-to-peer delivery technology. To establish a direct peer connection, your network address (such as your IP address) may be shared with other participants in the same broadcast, as is inherent to peer-to-peer networking. Do not use the Service for streams where this disclosure is unacceptable to you or your viewers.
4. How we use data
- To provide, operate and secure the Service — execution of a contract.
- To bill and collect payment — execution of a contract and legal obligation.
- To communicate with you about the Service — legitimate interest / contract.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with law — legal obligation / legitimate interest.
- For analytics and product improvement — legitimate interest, where permitted.
5. Sharing and sub-processors
We share personal data with service providers who process it on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), our hosting/infrastructure providers, and email delivery providers. We require these processors to protect the data and use it only to provide their services. We may also disclose data to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal data.
To protect our forms from bots and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which collects limited device and interaction data to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. Cloudflare processes this data in accordance with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires it, such transfers rely on an appropriate legal mechanism (e.g. contractual safeguards or your consent).
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business, accounting and legal purposes (for example, tax and billing records must be kept for the period required by law). We then delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, anonymize, port, or delete your personal data, obtain information about sharing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; you may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and organizations and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice.
12. Contact
